Summarize Spoken Text

50-70 words, three sentences, built straight from your notes.

The rule

  1. 1Take notes in a line: topic → point 1 → point 2 → conclusion.
  2. 2Sentence 1: 'The speaker explained …'. Sentences 2-3: the two main points.
  3. 3Stay in the 50-70 word range; count before you submit.
  4. 4Do not add your own opinion — only what the speaker said.

Worked example

A talk on coral bleaching.

  • Notes: warming, algae loss, recovery slow
  • Open with 'The speaker explained'
  • Two points, one close

Answer: The speaker explained that rising sea temperatures cause coral bleaching…
